Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and record patient vitals (BP, HR, RR, Temp).
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments.
- Assist providers with patient exams, procedures, and injections.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EMR) documentation.
- Draw blood and collect laboratory specimens as required.
- Administer medications and vaccines under provider supervision.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and check them in/out.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Must be available to work weekends consistently.
