Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes in condition to the healthcare team immediately.
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities, hygiene, and mobility.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient recovery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
