Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse clinical units including Med-Surg, ICU, and Oncology
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations with clinical excellence
- Educate patients and families on health management protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer mentorship programs
Qualifications
- Active NY State RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Commitment to cultural competence and patient-centered care
