Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with examination procedures and recording vital signs.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and privacy.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, screen specimens, and prepare samples for analysis.
- Coordinate patient appointments, manage patient charts, and handle front-desk reception duties as needed.
- Assist in minor medical procedures and prepare examination rooms for patient visits.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and CMA/RMA/NHA credentials preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
