Job Overview:
As a Medical Assistant, you will be the vital link between patients and providers. You will perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure our facility runs smoothly and patients receive top-tier care.
Responsibilities
- Perform Clinical Duties: Take vital signs, record medical history, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Administer Treatments: Assist physicians with minor procedures, administer injections (when licensed), and perform basic lab tests.
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients, answer phones, and manage patient flow to ensure a positive experience.
- Record Management: Update and maintain patient medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system accurately.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and restock examination rooms, medical supplies, and equipment.
- Telehealth Support: Assist with remote patient monitoring and virtual consultations as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or MA certification from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or medical office setting preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Reliability: Ability to adhere to strict schedules and medical protocols.
