Responsibilities
- Perform routine vital signs, blood pressure, temperature, and weight measurements accurately.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain a clean clinical environment.
- Perform basic phlebotomy and EKG procedures as required.
- Manage patient intake, charting, and electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors, answering questions and directing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or MA) required.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
