Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature) and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist physicians and nurses during clinical procedures and patient rounds.
- Manage patient intake, charting, and electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
- Schedule patient appointments and handle front desk duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment.
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision as required.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Texas State Medical Assistant license.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
