Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient information and maintain electronic health records
- Administer injections, medications, and perform basic lab tests
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Provide telehealth support for remote patient follow-ups
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Athena preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication skills and cultural competency
- Ability to work in hybrid environment (3 remote days/week)
