Responsibilities
- Process medical claims with 95% accuracy using provided billing systems
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients
- Follow up on denied claims and appeals with payers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and coding guidelines
- Generate monthly reports on billing metrics and revenue trends
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Train on and utilize provided electronic health record (EHR) systems
Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Familiarity with claim scrubbers and denial management
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience with provided EHR/billing software (training provided)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
