Responsibilities
- Process and submit medical claims to insurance providers with 99% accuracy
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits before service delivery
- Manage denial resolution and appeals process efficiently
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and coding standards
- Generate regular reports on billing metrics and revenue cycle performance
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture completeness
- Utilize provided specialized billing software for daily operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with proven accuracy
- Certification (CPC, CMRS, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Expertise in insurance claim processing and reimbursement cycles
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Experience with EHR systems and billing software (we provide equipment)
- Strong communication skills for patient and provider interactions
