Responsibilities
- Accurately process medical claims and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Utilize provided specialized billing software for claim submission and tracking
- Communicate effectively with insurance providers and resolve claim denials
- Maintain detailed patient billing records and documentation
- Analyze billing reports and identify opportunities for revenue cycle optimization
- Train on and utilize provided equipment including dual-monitor systems and billing software
Qualifications
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- 2+ years of medical billing experience with insurance claim processing
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Experience with provided billing software (training included)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
