Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in hospital/clinical settings during overnight shifts
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document medical records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Precept and mentor new nursing staff as required
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
