Responsibilities
- Review and submit clean claims to insurance payers (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)
- Resolve billing discrepancies through denial management and appeals
- Code medical services using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS standards
- Maintain patient accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing operations
- Collaborate with clinical teams for accurate charge entry
Qualifications
- 2+ years medical billing experience in a clinical setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or similar EHR systems
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
