Responsibilities
- Review medical records and patient information to ensure accuracy before billing.
- Submit and follow up on claims with insurance companies (Blue Cross, UnitedHealth, etc.).
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to services.
- Manage accounts receivable and collections processes.
- Identify and correct errors in medical coding and billing.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding outstanding balances and insurance inquiries.
Qualifications
