Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure compliance.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving and stocking pharmaceuticals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient inquiries regarding prescriptions.
- Process payments and handle returns or exchanges efficiently.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and adheres to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- Current state licensure as a Pharmacy Technician.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software.
