Responsibilities
- Assist Pharmacists: Support the pharmacy team in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently under supervision.
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients, answer inquiries regarding prescription refills, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist in ordering supplies, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
- Administrative Tasks: Process insurance claims, manage patient records, and handle cash transactions and payments.
- Medication Preparation: Prepare medication labels, package prescriptions, and ensure proper storage of controlled substances.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling sensitive medical information and medications.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn pharmacy software systems.
