Responsibilities
- Review medical records and documentation to assign accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Submit clean claims to insurance companies and government payers (Medicare/Medicaid)

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ACA, and healthcare regulations
- Utilize billing software (Epic, NextGen, or similar) for claim processing
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and insurance representatives
- Resolve billing discrepancies through research and documentation
