MediCare Pro Services is a leading healthcare provider committed to excellence in revenue cycle management. We're seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our dynamic Charlotte office and help us maintain our 98% claim approval rate.
Responsibilities
- Accurately code and submit medical claims using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS guidelines
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits eligibility
- Resolve claim denials and appeals with insurance companies
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in medical billing software (Epic or Meditech experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes and regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
