Responsibilities

- Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to service delivery
- Resolve claim denials and rejections through targeted follow-up
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Analyze aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document accurate coding
- Utilize EHR systems for claim submission and tracking
Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certification (CPC, COC, or CCS) preferred
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes
- Experience with EHR/PM systems (Epic, Athenahealth preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
