Responsibilities
- Process and submit clean claims to insurance payers with 98% accuracy
- Denial analysis and resolution through systematic follow-up protocols
- Patient billing inquiries and financial counseling via HIPAA-compliant channels
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and Arizona state regulations
- Collaborate with coding teams for ICD-10/CPT alignment
- Monthly AR aging reports and KPI performance tracking
- Electronic health record (EHR) data validation and reconciliation
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
- Expertise in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Advanced knowledge of UB-04 and CMS-1500 forms
- Proficient in Denial Management and ICD-10 coding
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical precision
- Ability to manage high-volume claims in a fast-paced environment
