Responsibilities
- Process insurance claims and patient billing using Epic/NextGen systems
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits for accurate reimbursement
- Analyze claim denials and resolve billing discrepancies
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all financial transactions
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for leadership
- Coordinate with clinical teams for documentation accuracy
- Manage AR follow-up and payment posting
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience in physician practice
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
- Proficiency in CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial payers
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
