Core Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and manage the front desk efficiently.
- Schedule patient appointments via phone and online systems while ensuring optimal provider utilization.
- Verify patient insurance information and process co-pays accurately.
- Answer incoming calls professionally, triaging messages to the appropriate medical staff.
- Manage patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance in all data handling.
- Assist with inventory management of office supplies and patient forms.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a medical reception or front desk role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
