Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care and assessment in accordance with facility protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Educate patients and families on post-care instructions and health maintenance.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and daily shift huddles.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN License in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (ICU/Med Surg preferred).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
