Responsibilities
- Greet Patients: Welcome patients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor upon arrival.
- Scheduling: Manage patient appointments using electronic health records (EHR) systems and phone lines.
- Administrative Support: Handle front desk duties including check-in processes, insurance verification, and data entry.
- Phone Support: Answer incoming calls professionally, redirecting inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
- Patient Communication: Provide basic health information and direct patients to medical staff as needed.
- Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining office supplies and medical equipment.
- Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and clinic policies regarding patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior medical or reception experience required; we value attitude and aptitude over experience.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Windows and MS Office applications is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal: Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a busy office setting.
- Language: Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not mandatory.
