Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs with precision and safety protocols
- Perform infection control and sterilization of instruments following OSHA guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and materials for efficient patient flow
- Manage patient charts and digital records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Deliver post-operative instructions and comfort measures to patients
- Coordinate scheduling and inventory management for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Current California RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in coronal polishing and sealant application preferred
- Proficiency in digital radiography and CBCT imaging systems
- Exceptional chairside skills and knowledge of dental materials
- Strong communication abilities for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced clinical environments
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
