Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement care plans under the supervision of experienced nursing staff.
- Monitor Patient Status: Observe and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition to ensure safety and optimal recovery.
- Collaborative Care: Work effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patient conditions as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Must possess a valid RN license (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution).
- Experience: No prior experience required; open to New Graduates (must graduate within 6 months of application).
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Ohio.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred or required upon hire depending on unit.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personal Traits: Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
