Responsibilities
- Provide direct and compassionate patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment implementation.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, reporting any changes immediately to the healthcare provider.
- Document patient care activities, including medications, treatments, and responses, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by complying with all health and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations according to established protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of nursing interventions, clinical procedures, and patient safety standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
