Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition changes
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfer activities using proper techniques
- Respond to patient call lights and emergencies promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Support end-of-life care with dignity and sensitivity when required
Qualifications
- Current Colorado CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or long-term experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
