Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding while respecting dietary restrictions
- Respond promptly to patient calls and ensure a safe, comfortable environment during night hours
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain organized patient areas
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or hospital setting preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
