Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the RN/LPN.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Document daily care activities and observations accurately in patient charts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee CNA license (or willingness to obtain).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
