Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team to ensure continuity of care during the night shift.
- Assist with feeding and hydration for patients with special needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Administer medication as prescribed under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications
- Current, valid California CNA License (required).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols strictly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
