Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report patient condition changes to nursing staff
- Assist with medical procedures and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Ensure patient rooms and equipment are sanitized and maintained per protocols
- Support emotional well-being of patients during overnight care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Michigan CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year hospital or long-term care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
