Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming) to residents
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans and resident needs
- Respond to emergency situations following protocol
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments
Qualifications
- Active Arizona CNA certification
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong communication skills with residents/families
- Flexibility with schedule adjustments
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
