Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vital sign measurements accurately and efficiently.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment for the night shift.
- Handle phlebotomy and specimen collection as required.
- Manage patient records and electronic health records (EHR) with confidentiality.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding medications and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting is highly preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
