Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures including patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and EKGs
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Document patient information accurately in EHR systems
- Coordinate patient flow and manage appointment schedules
- Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ohio state license (or ability to obtain immediately)
