Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive patient intake, including medical history reviews and vital sign monitoring.
- Medication Administration: Accurately prepare and administer medications and treatments under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Procedures: Assist providers with clinical procedures, phlebotomy, and EKGs during the night shift.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Communication: Facilitate clear communication between patients, providers, and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Hygiene & Safety: Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, sanitized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting, preferably in an Urgent Care or Primary Care clinic.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong patient communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
