Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in emergency, ICU, and med-surg units during overnight hours
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in status
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records in Epic EMR system
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience (critical care preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain)
- Strong clinical assessment skills and emergency response capabilities
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
