Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care assessments and interventions during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor and respond to emergency situations using advanced life support protocols
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proven ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
