Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a hospital setting during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning
- Document patient assessments and care activities in EHR systems
- Mentor new staff and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Virginia RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
