Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop digital dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments using practice management software
- Provide post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Coordinate with insurance companies and handle billing inquiries
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary
- Valid CPR certification (will provide training)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain DANB certification within 6 months of hire
