Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse medical units in top NYC hospitals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations accurately in EMR systems
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations
- Participate in handoffs and shift change communications
- Adhere to NY state nursing protocols and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Pass NCLEX-RN exam and have results available
- Graduated within the last 12 months or actively enrolled in nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt quickly
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
