Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and improve mental well-being.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community events using reliable transportation.
- Administer medication as directed and coordinate with the nursing team.
- Handle light laundry and errands as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is a plus but not required if willing to train.
- Must be willing to complete state-mandated caregiver training and certification.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and assist patients as needed.
