Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain safe living environments
- Document care activities and client progress accurately
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate attitude and patience when working with vulnerable populations
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to client locations
- Willingness to complete paid training program (40 hours)
