Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and administer medications with precision
- Monitor critical patients using advanced telemetry systems and respond to emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical data accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinate care transitions during shift changes
- Adhere to HIPAA protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in telemetry/ICU
- BSN preferred or commitment to obtain within 12 months
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
