Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare meals and assist patients with feeding if necessary.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and changing bed linens.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments or errands.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- CNA or HHA certification is a plus, but paid training is available for the right candidates.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
