Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify prescription orders for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness before dispensing.
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and organize pharmacy storage areas efficiently.
- Process insurance claims, handle payments, and manage patient records accurately.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding medications, insurance coverage, and general pharmacy services.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations, safety protocols, and sterile techniques.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must be willing to complete our paid training program.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital setting is a plus.
