Responsibilities
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Prepare and package prescription medications for dispensing to patients.
- Manage inventory levels, including reordering stock and conducting monthly audits.
- Assist customers with medication questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Operate pharmacy dispensing equipment and computer systems accurately.
- Assist pharmacists with compounding and administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure the pharmacy maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to complete the required paid training program.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
