Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory and ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Assist in sterile compounding and IV preparation
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
- Train on pharmacy software systems and workflow management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior pharmacy experience necessary – we provide paid training!
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid California Pharmacy Technician Trainee License (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and customer service skills
