Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure client comfort and hygiene.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and ensure safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor client health status.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are necessary.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in home health or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
