As a vital member of our care team, you'll deliver personalized assistance to elderly and disabled clients while collaborating closely with nurses and therapists. Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records
- Support meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to implement care plans
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Certified CPR/BLS certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
